Coffee shops historically have been a gathering spot for poets, artists and malcontents seeking a forum to espouse their views; which just happens to be the purpose of this community. So, let's have at it.

Today, everyone's an American

The "results" are IN.

OBAMA's the 44th President of the United States of America... Which also means, the whole world zooms in on him for the next few years -- or so.

He just finished his acceptance speech. I was having goosebumps as I hear his eloquence. One thing I really admire about this gentleman is his eloquence and grace.

Im welling up. Yes I am hahaha! This is History! Is it good history? we will never know. Today, all I know is that somehow our generation is realizing mistakes of older generations, we are making a stand. NOW we are able to combine mistakes of both the conservative and liberal generations and are striving hard to make that connection and create balance.

Will we make it before we "self-destruct"? I do hope so. I am not saying Obama's the hero of the world. I am saying our Generation is speaking up, making and deciding for CHANGE.

It started with environmental awareness, to gender sensitivity and awareness, now political action.

CHANGE. I always liked Obama's campaign.

I'm not American not even close... but I'm as excited and happy as all the OBAMA supporters in the US and in the World.

Good Luck and God Bless President Obama!

now, here y'all go have some coffee, on the house! It's been a loooong night for everyone who voted and waited and gathered and rallied out there.

We here in America (well, most of us!) are so proud tonight, and so "hopeful." And we are very happy to be once again in the community of respected nations...

It so does, doesn't it Morgan?

Obama's become a symbol of hope for everyone -- inter-cultural communities, the gays and lesbians, environmentalists, businessmen -- we all unite today because of this symbol of hope that is Obama.

You reckon they're either hiding in shame that their Governor (Palin)'s become controversial... or helping her in the campaign? heheh

Finally, the right man won the election - something that hasn't happened in the last two elections. And just in the nick of time if you ask me.
