Who knew Monks made good coffee

So the story goes these monks from northwestern Wyoming, began roasting and selling their own coffee. The monks get their coffee from brokers, then roast it on a Diedrich roaster ("we got the Cadillac of roasters") using profiles set up by master roaster Brother Michael Mary, who worked in a Minneapolis coffee house before coming to Wyoming to study for the priesthood. The monks' website offers 21 kinds of coffee, including Hermit's Bold, a lovely blend of Sumatran and Guatemalan beans

Espresso ~ Free-Basing Caffeine

This site has been on the shelf for a while, so it let's take it out for a trial run. I loved the look of the lady and invited her along for the coffee tasting.

Well, this site being the classy upscale blog that it is, invites you have a look at this coffee art, it's to cool for words. That'll give me some stall time to figure out what to do next. Me, I miss the smoke filled coffee houses with their off beat denizens and malcontents, now we have latte artists

The Seattle Post Intelligencer reports “Here's to a sex-cessful campaign, UW students attack paper-cup waste”.

It’s about students at the University of Washington trying to reverse the trend of paper cups. I’m all for that (while drinking out of my Mickey Mouse mug...)

Caffeinated decaf

Studies by the University of Florida show that our decaf coffee actually has caffeine! (Must be an inherent quality of the taste!)

"If someone drinks five to 10 cups of decaffeinated coffee, the dose of caffeine could easily reach the level present in a cup or two of caffeinated coffee
