Looking For an Affordable Cup
July 30th 2007 19:13
Hi. I'm sorry to have been away, especially so abruptly. It isn't something easily explained.
Kind of an annual grieving thing.
If you are willing to let it go at that, then let's look at some coffee flavor tests, and where to buy these brews...
It's been over two years since Consumer Reports did a coffee analysis, yet, I think the report is still valid. In December 2004 CR found the best tasting coffee to be Caribou. I haven't tried this brand yet, but hope to make the effort soon. If you are interested in testing this brand you can find them online at Caribou
I can't roast my own beans in my current residence, so I need to buy the beans roasted. I agree with CR that grinding your own beans usually results in a better brew.
I also agree with CR that Eight O'Clock coffee provides a tasty coffee superior to Starbucks, at a lower price. This is a pleasant suprise. You can order online from their site (link coming) or purchase the brand almost anywhere.
